BACKGROUND

I was born and raised in New Orleans, and lived here or nearby for 40+ years. After two years in the army, I studied chemistry and biology at Loyola, earning a BS in 1957. I worked for 40 years as a chemist in government and industry in Louisiana, Michigan, Alabama, and Virginia. I have travelled widely. I designed web sites for 12 years, and have given up on that. I've been on the Web longer than Al Gore. -- see more at my personal page.
